Nostradamus had also predicted certain things about the first black President of America, Barrack Obama. He had predicted that Obama would become the President and as we all know that he did. He also predicted that Obama would come in to contact with a person who will be an anti-Christ and this contact will lead to the start of the Third World War, involving almost all the countries of the world.

Michel de Nostradame, more commonly known by his Latin name, Nostradamus, was born to Jewish parents on December 14, 1503, in St. Remy de Provence. When he was nine, the family converted to Catholicism in order to avoid persecution from the Spanish Inquisition, something which Nostradamus was mindful of throughout his life as a ‘heretic,’ despite appearing to practice as a devout catholic.


The oldest of four brothers Nostradamus was educated at Avignon where he was considered a child prodigy. At home he was schooled in Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Maths and Astrology by his grandfather, Jean de Nostradame. Nostradamus went on to attend Montpeillier University to study as a doctor and after obtaining a bachelor degree in Medicine he travelled round the countryside in the south of France treating impoverished victims of the black plague.

Nostradamus predicted that world would come to an end in 2012. Interestingly, it also coincides with the predictions of impending apocalypse made by prophets of several religions, all across the world. This has been a single isolated incidence in the history of mankind where all the prophecies regarding Armageddon point to a specific date in the future, 21st December, 2012! Super volcanoes are no ordinary volcanoes. They are substantially larger than the common volcano and produce the biggest and most deadly eruptions on earth. Yellowstone Volcano is one of the biggest and most realistic of the 2012 predictions. Scientists will tell you today that Yellowstone is overdue for a volcanic eruption, thus leading to the theory that 2012 could be that date. An eruption from this supervolcano could be catastrophic, as it is estimated to be 1,000′s of times more powerful than a regular volcano The explosion will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. In a regular volcano eruption, scorching magma shoots up from the bottom of the earth. As the magma cools, it creates a cone shape that gradually forms into a mountain. In super volcanoes, the magma gets blocked from getting to the exterior surface. Instead, the amount of pressure just increases over time until more gravel in the region melt and turn into magma too. The area beneath the exterior surface becomes an enormous underground sea of magma and when the pressure gets too much to handle, a giant explosion that’s a thousand times more intense than a regular volcano bursts causing massive cataclysmic destruction.

Consequences 
An eruption from this supervolcano could have numerous catastrophic outcomes. It is estimated that 5 miles below the surface of the Yellowstone caldera lays a pit of magma measuring 30 miles long and 20 miles wide. With the amount of pressure contained within the supervolcano, which is already visible through its cycles of hourly “mini-eruptions”, the release of this amount of hot magma could decimate North America. It’s effects could reach across the world however.

The amount of force in the explosion was calculated to be 10,000 stronger than the volcanic eruption that destroyed Mount St. Helens. A large amount of rock and burning ash were in the air and blocked the sun for many months. The temperature on earth was believed to have dropped down to 21 degrees. Mankind was nearly pushed to the edge of extinction as the human population was reduced to a couple of thousand and 75% of plant life in the North American hemisphere was nearly wiped out.

Threat of the apocalypse also comes from more familiar source, the Bible. The Bible’s track record for accurate prophecy is legendary. The books of revelation predict an apocalypse in the future and some say it is happening now. It is filled with terrifying images and it is all about the apocalypse, and the coming of the end, the final battle of good versus evil.

Mckenna  expressed the six lines and 64 possible combinations  as ratio of change in each hexagram and plotted on a graph. When he mapped the graph over a time line, highs and lows of his I Ching graph have accurately predicted all the events of 4000 years of recorded history. Few examples are the  fall of the Roman empire, the discovery of the new world and the world war of the 20th century.

The I Ching, also referred to as the 'Book of Changes' is one of the oldest Chinese classic texts and is now at the core of Chinese culture. Chinese legend says that the emperor Fu Shi invented the I Ching around 28 century BC.
